NGC 7380 - Wizard Nebula (Warm SHO)
Wizard Nebula (NGC 7380) — Cool SHO
The same Wizard Nebula, the same captured data, but an entirely different color interpretation. A custom SHO palette emphasizes turquoise emission against golden-orange clouds, bringing out the contrasting structures surrounding the nebula's dark dust pillars.
Captured from southeast Michigan using an Askar 111F APO and ZWO ASI2600MC Pro. Processed in PixInsight using Astro Diver Palette Mixer (ADPM).

NGC 7380 - Wizard Nebula (Cool SHO)
Wizard Nebula (NGC 7380) — Warm SHO
A dramatic interpretation of the Wizard Nebula, approximately 7,000 light-years away in Cepheus. Hydrogen, oxygen, and sulfur emission data were combined to create a warm palette of copper-red clouds, glowing ivory highlights, and intricate dark dust pillars.
Captured from southeast Michigan using an Askar 111F APO and ZWO ASI2600MC Pro. Processed in PixInsight using Astro Diver Palette Mixer (ADPM).

NGC 7822 - Question Mark Nebula (Warm - HOO)
NGC 7822 — A Stellar Nursery in Cepheus
Approximately 3,000 light-years away, NGC 7822 is an active star-forming region filled with glowing hydrogen, dark dust clouds, and energetic young stars.
Captured from southeast Michigan using an Askar 111F refractor and ZWO ASI2600MC Pro camera, this image combines 301 two-minute exposures totaling 10 hours and 2 minutes through Optolong L-eXtreme and L-Synergy narrowband filters.
Two interpretations — Warm HOO and Cool SHO — were created using Astro Diver Palette Mixer (ADPM), my custom PixInsight script for blending hydrogen, oxygen, and sulfur emissions into different color palettes.
